A non-return valve allows flow in the intended direction and helps resist flow back through the injection connection. In a suitable injection packer, this helps retain injected material when the pump line is disconnected.
Why the valve matters
During injection, the pump supplies material to the prepared injection point. When flow stops or the line is removed, the valve provides a return closure within the connection. Its performance depends on the selected design, material compatibility and working condition.
A non-return valve is not a pressure-relief valve. It also does not confirm that a crack or cavity has been fully filled. Those questions belong to the injection procedure and inspection plan.
Not every variant has the same arrangement
Some lamella packers are available with or without a check valve. Others use a cross-slide closure or a different connection arrangement. Specify the exact variant rather than assuming every product in a family has the same valve.
Day packers may include a second valve lower in the assembly. That arrangement supports a different removal sequence from a conventional single-valve connection. Follow the instructions for the actual model.
Details to check before ordering
- Whether the selected variant includes a non-return valve.
- The compatible nipple or coupling.
- The opening and working-pressure requirements for the exact model.
- Compatibility with the planned injection material.
- The specified disconnection, removal and finishing procedure.
Explore available packers and select the variant in your enquiry so the connection can be confirmed before supply.
These guides support product selection. Project-specific repair design, installation and working limits must be confirmed for the actual structure and injection system.
